Free and Open to the public.
In furtherance of Twin Cities Ballet's goal to enhance and support the art of dance in our community, every year since 2004 it has organized, sponsored and brought together a variety of local dance groups, students and professional dancers to participate in an original program called Twin Cities Summer Dance Festival—the first such event in the south metro. In 2011 TCB decided to take the mission and goals of the Festival in an exciting new direction, and initiated and organized a different performance event.
TCB's Summer Festival productions are collaborative programs that provide area students, schools and dancers (mostly student dancers, with some guest professionals) with the opportunity to perform and share the art of dance, in a cooperative and non-competitive environment. A typical program includes groups from not only the south metro, but also from Minneapolis, St. Paul, and other Twin Cities metro areas.
