Mixing the thrill of Halloween, with the vibrance of dance, Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota brings back Art in Motion: Ballet Spooktacular to the metro this fall at the hauntingly beautiful Lakeville Area Arts Center!

The performance will feature multiple dances inspired by zombies, ghouls, and spooky Halloween characters, that culminates in a thrilling dance finale for audiences to join!

A Minnesota Nutcracker features Minnesota settings and custom designed and painted Minnesota-centric backdrops. Accompanied by the iconic Tchaikovsky music, Clara, Drosselmeyer, and guests dance and dream from historic Rice Park and Summit Avenue in St. Paul, to the snowy banks of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, to the magnificent palace of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Pink Floyd's The Wall: A Rock Ballet

March 1-3, 2018

The Cowles Center for Dance & The Performing Arts - Minneapolis, MN

Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota (TCB) is excited to announce the
World Premiere of its all-new original full length Rock Ballet to Pink Floyd’s The Wall,
with live music by the band Run Like Hell. This groundbreaking event—a Minnesota
first—features an incredible collaboration of local artists: choreographers, dancers, and
musicians, and demonstrates TCB’s artistic vision, innovation and its dancers’
versatility.

Run Like Hell is an amazing and talented Pink Floyd tribute band based in St.
Paul, which tours multi-media rock shows to the music of Pink Floyd. With TCB
Interpreting the original Pink Floyd rock opera’s music, themes, story arc and lyrics
through the prism of contemporary events, societal fears, threats and social media, this
show will resonate with modern audiences and prove to be both relevant and accessible.
Adding the combination of great dancing and great music, this show is one of the must-
see events of the year.

Beauty & the Beast

May 10-12, 2017

Ames Center - Burnsville, MN

Created in the tradition of the classic story ballets, this original TCB story adaptation written by TCB Artistic Director Denise Vogt is returning to the stage, and will be a fun and magical ballet for all ages!

This production features an original musical score by emerging composer Jordan Cox both written and recorded specifically for this production. It also features enchanting stage designs, sets, lighting, costumes and choreography.

 

Full of magic, imagination, hope and redemption, Beauty & the Beast is a delight for the whole family!
